Welcome

Welcome to the Second Deaf Rochester Film Festival (DRFF07).  In 2005, a community of interested and hard-working folks organized the first festival which was a weekend celebration of Deaf filmmakers.  DRFF07 is now a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the cinematic explorations of Deaf filmmakers, directors, producers, script crafters, actors and others involved in filmmaking. In addition, we wish to foster an appreciation of the medium of film for Deaf audiences and stimulate scholarly analysis of Deaf Cinema.
